Supply Chain – Lessons from the Pandemic
October 18, 2023
Speaking Engagements
McNees attorneys, Lois B. Duquette and Thomas Gulick, are discussing the ways COVID-19’s supply chain disruptions affected contracts during the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Business Law Institute CLE conference.
The pandemic tied up supply chains in ways and to an extent previously imaginable, creating unique challenges for those bound by contracts with onerous penalties. Duquette and Gulick, together with Dentsply Sirona’s Jennifer F. Shugars, associate general counsel of Global Supply Chain and Quality & Regulatory Affairs, will explore the lessons those disruptions taught the legal community that can be applied to reduce risk from future supply chain disruptions. Those attending this session will learn strategies for negotiating contracts and developing business practices to better manage the risk posed by supply chain disruptions from both an in-house and private practice perspective.
