Shawn Leppo to co-chair McNees’ Intellectual Property Group

Harrisburg, Pa. – (January 2, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC Attorney Shawn K. Leppo will succeed Bruce Wolstoncroft as Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Group effective January 1, 2018 joining Michael Doctrow in that role.

He practices in the Intellectual Property, Patent Division, and International Law Groups in the Harrisburg, PA office. His practice includes all aspects of intellectual property law, with a focus on patent counseling and litigation.
Shawn has been named a Rising Star three times by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He also is a board member of CREDC (Capital Region Economic Development Corporation), New Birth of Freedom Council of the Boy Scouts of America and St. Stephen’s Episcopal School.
Shawn regularly speaks and writes on patent law and other intellectual property topics of interest and his work has been featured in publications by the PA Legal Intelligencer, JD Supra, and the American Corporate Counsel Association.
He earned his J.D. from William & Mary Law School and was a member of the Order of the Coif. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with B.S. in Chemical Engineering and lives in York Springs with his wife and sons.
