This program examines leading causes of malpractice claims against ALAS firms and the related professional responsibility rules. (Rules 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.6, 1.7) It uses examples from the ALAS experience with actual malpractice claims. The program also includes practical tips for decreasing the risk of an ethics violation or malpractice claim, along with advice about reacting to a potential problem, and some suggestions on dealing with the risks of working remotely.
