Join us on Thursday, June 22 at 12:00 p.m. for McNees’ second quarter Municipal Leader Roundtable where our team of panelists will discuss what power purchase agreements are and why municipalities across Pennsylvania should consider leveraging them, including:
- How groups of municipalities can pool resources to purchase a portion of their energy needs at fixed rates, thereby locking in energy costs for the long-term
- Moving a portion of a municipality’s energy usage to solar sources, without having to incur the substantial costs of purchasing solar panels and other needed equipment
- An alternative model for diversifying public energy usage to include new, environmentally friendly options, without incurring high installation costs
