Profile

Zach Wyatte focuses his practice on helping clients with corporate and tax matters. He drafts and reviews key legal documents; conducts thorough due diligence for transactions; and drafts commercial agreements pertinent to the normal operations of a business, including mergers and acquisitions. Zach employs a service-oriented approach to client service developed through his U.S. Coast Guard and private practice experiences.

Prior to joining McNees, Zach worked at an AM Law 100 firm, where he assisted corporate clients, including lenders and financial institutions, municipalities, political subdivisions and public officials in various commercial disputes. He also gained complex maritime law experience, including drafting complex maritime agreements consisting of vessel construction, purchase and sale, time, voyage and bareboat charterparties, master service agreements and indemnity and insurance provisions.

Before that, he was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard for seven years, where he served as a Maritime Casualty Investigator and Lieutenant and Assistant Chief of Inspections Department (ACID). Zach was part of a team that responded to pollution-related incidents and other vessel casualties in real time, managing civil and criminal consequences.
