Tre Blomeier practices in the McNees Corporate & Tax group, which offers a wide range of services, including business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, credit refinancing, capital raising, joint ventures, and other commercial growth strategies, as well as complex regulatory compliance for businesses across various industries.

Prior to joining McNees and while pursuing his juris doctorate, Tre served as a research assistant on various projects centered around financial regulation, the developments of global environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies and the expansion of voluntary carbon markets. He also earned his concentration in antitrust law while at George Mason by completing core classes in competition law and policy.

Tre also served as a summer associate with the litigation support and enforcement team at a financial services consultancy based in Washington, DC, where he conducted research and drafted memoranda, export reports and documents used in complex securities, banking and commodities litigation. While there, he also assisted in building policies and procedures for financial institutions to comply with changing state and federal financial regulation.

He additionally served as a legislative intern for a member on the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, where he conducted comprehensive legislative and judicial research on areas of public policy for over 30 pieces of proposed legislation and helped draft a bill primarily focused on competition law and policy. Tre also served as a business development analyst intern for a global agriculture and construction machinery corporation, where he helped create a process for onboarding new members in its growing distributor-dealer network and helped manage the contracts database.
