Terry Bossert is a member of the McNees Energy & Environmental Law Group. He has nearly five decades of experience in environmental law, advising clients on environmental and energy-related regulations, liabilities, and litigation, as well as government relations and compliance issues.
Having served as a prosecutor, regulator, corporate counsel, and private legal practitioner, Terry has thought leadership in energy and environmental law.
What does Terry do for Clients?
Terry’s clients are companies in industries including oil and gas, power generation and distribution, private equity and venture capital, hospitality, and manufacturing, among others. In his practice, he provides:
Over the course of his career, Terry has served as chief counsel to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, deputy attorney general supervising the prosecution of environmental crimes, vice president of regulatory affairs for two natural gas companies, and counsel to clients at law firms. He also currently serves as general counsel to Marcellus Shale Coalition. That relationship is independent and separate from his relationship with the Firm.
How does Terry spend his free time?
Terry’s love of the outdoors predates the first Earth Day and he still enjoys hiking and camping. He also enjoys reading, particularly materials relating to history and archeology.
