Ross A. Giorgianni, member of McNees’ Real Estate and Construction & Procurement Law Groups, provides productive guidance and creative strategies to achieve favorable results for his clients, typically in areas of construction law and complex commercial litigation.
Ross utilizes practical industry knowledge and experience that he gained working as a civil engineer providing design, environmental, and construction inspection services prior to law school. Combining these skills with his legal training and years of experience handling and resolving construction matters, Ross effectively counsels contractors, subcontractors, owners and others concerning their rights, obligations, and options in matters arising from all aspects of the construction industry — contract negotiation, drafting and analysis, bidding and schedule issues, public and private projects, asserting and defending claims, mechanics’ liens, payment and performance bonds, to name a few.
Ross draws upon his regular practice before state and federal courts and private dispute resolution organizations to work collaboratively and creatively with his clients to understand and efficiently pursue their desired outcomes. In addition to representing clients in all aspects of the construction, design, and real estate development industries, Ross handles matters involving commercial contractual disputes; insurance coverage and defense; environmental and suretyship issues.
When not practicing law, Ross enjoys spending time with his family, music, golf, cooking and following the Steelers, Pirates and Pitt Panthers.
Before joining McNees, Ross was a partner with Blumling & Gusky LLP, a Pittsburgh-based boutique construction law firm.
