Kimberly J. Wakefield, M.S., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a highly accomplished and experienced human resources leader with three decades of experience communicating effectively with team members of all levels and building lasting relationships of trust and credibility. As Senior Director of People & Development, she leverages her comprehensive HR background to oversee McNees’ strategic alignment, workforce development, talent management, recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, change management, employee relations, compensation and benefits.
Prior to joining McNees, Kim served in a senior HR role with a central Pennsylvania-based integrated health system where she oversaw the HR needs of more than 6,500 employees. She led her team in forward-thinking strategic and operational initiatives; developed budget initiatives around stewardship and workforce management; and demonstrably improved employee satisfaction, safety and overall communication.
Before that, Kim managed human relations for an accounting and business advisory firm and served in the HR departments for two financial institutions.
