Jennifer L. Deardorff is a real estate attorney who helps owners and managers of residential and commercial properties navigate Maryland’s property management laws and processes. She supports landlord-tenant and other real estate matters related to rental properties, multifamily complexes, office buildings, shopping centers, condominiums, homeowner associations and cooperatives.

Before joining McNees, Jennifer worked as an associate foreclosure attorney, where she represented mortgage lenders and servicers on more than 100 Maryland foreclosure actions, including mediations, bankruptcy inquiries, eviction proceedings, and quiet title actions. She facilitated real estate closings with foreclosure purchasers and real estate owned (REO) companies.

While studying for her undergraduate and law degrees, Jennifer gained valuable experience as a law clerk and legal assistant, conducting legal research and drafting memoranda on property disputes, title issues, foreclosure actions, and landlord-tenant matters.
