Esch is Co-Chair of the McNees Real Estate Group, a growing and collaborative team of professionals who take a practical approach to resolving real estate matters. Esch’s focus is on land use matters, for which he helps his clients navigate zoning, subdivision, land development, and other approvals and permits, including permits related to stormwater and road access. In addition to working with townships of all sizes, he frequently handles matters for clients developing property in more densely populated areas, such as the City of Harrisburg and the Commonwealth’s boroughs.
What does Esch do for Clients?
Esch relies on legal expertise and municipal relationships to secure the best outcomes for his clients. He takes a practical approach with a focus on the big picture, so that his clients’ best interests are always what drives his strategy. He prefers a collaborative approach with the municipality because that usually leads to the best result for his clients. However, he is willing to create leverage and litigate when the situation calls for it.
Utilizing his legal and personal skills, Esch secures permits and approvals at the municipal, county and state level for his clients. He also conducts zoning due diligence in support of construction and M&A activity throughout the country. His clients operate in all business sectors. Broadly speaking, he represents commercial, industrial, institutional and residential developers and property owners.
