McNees Paralegal Named Central Pennsylvania Paralegal Association’s 2021 Outstanding Paralegal of the Year

HARRISBURG, PA – (Thursday, July 29, 2021) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC paralegal Cathy Wright was awarded the recognition of the Central Pennsylvania Paralegal Association (CPPA)’s 2021 Outstanding Paralegal of the Year on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, during the Associations’ Virtual Paralegal Day Celebration. The award acknowledges her commitment to the legal professional, quality of work and involvement in the community.
Cathy, an essential member of McNees for nearly 20 years, serves the Corporate & Tax and Real Estate Practice Groups assisting several attorneys with the formation, amending, merging, and dissolution of entities in Pennsylvania and other states, as well as with complex transactional work. In addition, she assists in the process of onboarding our young associates and incoming paralegals and continues to provide them with practical guidance.
Outside of McNees, Cathy is an enthusiastic supporter of the paralegal field, inspiring others to enter the profession. Since 2012, she has served as an adjunct faculty member at Rio Salado College, facilitating an ethics class for paralegal students.

The Central Pennsylvania Paralegal Association, a non-profit professional association comprised of paralegals, paralegal students and related organizations throughout the local area, chooses the recipient of this yearly award from nominations provided by supervising attorneys associated with the paralegal members.
