HARRISBURG, Pa. – (October 15, 2019) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Denise Elliott will present at the 2019 Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disability (PAR) Solutions Conference on Tuesday, October 22 in Harrisburg, Pa.
Denise and Joseph Neuman of Supportive Living Services will lead the session “The Risks Associated with Medical Marijuana in the Workplace and What to do About Them.” They will discuss best practices and provide employers with the tools to develop a framework for evaluating risk and make decisions that make sense for an individual workplace.

Denise practices in the McNees Labor and Employment Practice Group where she focuses on defending self-insured employers in workers compensation matters and providing representation and counsel to clients in employment discrimination litigation; ADA/FMLA compliance; drug and alcohol issues in the workplace; and health and safety. She is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section.
