New resources will soon be available for businesses and nonprofits in Lancaster County to help cope with COVID-19 safety and financial recovery.  Lancaster County, in cooperation with the Lancaster Chamber and the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County, have just launched a website, as the portal for these resources.  Updated information will be made available through that web portal.  We suggest you check that site on a regular basis for up-to-date information.

PPE (personal protective equipment) is being purchased on a centralized basis and will be made available in kits at no cost to Lancaster County businesses and nonprofits with up to 100 employees.  Additionally, grants of up to $35,000 will be available for retrofit and working capital expenses to Lancaster County businesses and nonprofits with up to 20 employees (in the first of 3 rounds of grant funding).  Small organizations have been identified as the most in need for this assistance, and thus are the initial target for this program

CARES Act funds are being utilized by the County for this program, and are being leveraged with over 120 volunteers helping this cause.  McNees attorneys are proud to be among the volunteer teams.
