HARRISBURG, PA (Dec. 4, 2015) – McNees was named 3rd Best Places to Work in the Large Company category and is the highest ranked law firm in the Commonwealth. 2015 marks the firm’s seventh consecutive year with a top-ten ranking and its tenth consecutive year being named to the list of Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania. This Survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places to be employed in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.

The program identifying the best places of employment in Pennsylvania is brought to you by: Central Penn Business Journal (CPBJ) in partnership with Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – PA State Council and Best Companies Group. Companies are selected through a twofold scoring evaluation: review of a company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics; and results of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. Using a formula similar to Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America,” the Best Companies Group scores the workplace practices survey along with the employee survey, and each Best Places to Work candidate is given an overall score.
