Harrisburg, Pa. – (April 5, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC recently was honored by the United Way of the Capital Region with the Pillar Society Award during a celebration luncheon at the Hilton in Harrisburg. The award is given to those organizations that supports the United Way campaign by contributing $100,000 or more in combined corporate and employee giving. The Pillar Society comprised 59 percent of this year’s campaign.
Along with McNees, other Pillar Society organizations donating at least $100,000 in employee and corporate giving included Capital BlueCross, Country Meadows Retirement Communities, Deloitte Consulting, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Gannett Fleming, Hersha Group, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Co., M&T Bank, Nationwide Insurance, Penn National Insurance, Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine, Reynolds Enterprises, Rite Aid Corp., State Employee Combined Appeal, Three Mile Island Generating Station and UPS. Pillar Society organizations donating at least $500,000 in employee and corporate giving are the Hershey Co., Highmark Blue Shield and UPMC Pinnacle.
