HARRISBURG, PA – McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC, a law firm based in Central Pennsylvania, announced further expansion by opening a new office in Frederick, Maryland.
“This move further solidifies McNees’ growing presence in the Mid-Atlantic market, and positions us well to serve existing and new clients in Maryland,” said David Kleppinger, McNees’ Chairman.
Frederick is the second largest city in Maryland, and is located less than an hour from Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The city was recently ranked the 18th best Small Arts City in the U.S. by American Style Magazine and boasts a historical district known for its architecture and public art works.
Founded in 1745, Frederick is home to Hood College, as well as Fort Detrick, a U.S. Army medical command installation. Frederick also serves as the headquarters location for several globally competitive companies. It is also the final resting place for Francis Scott Key, the author of “The Star Spangled Banner.”
The new office, opening in early December, will be located at 5283 Corporate Drive in Frederick.
In addition to Frederick, Maryland, McNees serves clients worldwide from offices in Harrisburg, Lancaster, State College and Scranton, PA; Columbus, OH, and Washington, D.C.
