HARRISBURG, Pa. – (May 16, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick attorneys, Devin Chwastyk and Brian Gregg, will present at this year’s CCAP County Administration Conference at The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center in Centre County on Thursday, May 31, 2018.

Devin and Brian’s session, “Contracts and Technology Considerations,” will inform attendees about the needed language in contracts with the county in relation to technology requirements.  This would include confidentiality, data ownership, cyber security and a reasonable allocation of risk between the vendor and customer.

Devin Chwastyk is Chair of the McNees Privacy & Data Security Group.  He advises clients on how to get ahead of data exposure by developing data security policies, privacy disclosures, breach response plans and associated training programs. He also helps clients remedy and report security breach events.

Devin also practices in the Litigation, Intellectual Property, Public Sector, Education Law and Insurance Law Practice Groups.

As a member of the McNees Privacy & Data Security Practice Group, Brian assists clients with software and technology services contracts.  He advises both vendors and users on the legal issues surrounding the use of software and technology including SaaS/PaaS agreements, data privacy/security and the drafting and negotiation of software and technology services agreements.

Brian is Chair of the Food & Beverage Practice Group and practices in the Intellectual Property and Craft Brewery Practice Groups.
