Denise Elliott will present on the landscape of medical marijuana in the workplace at a Human Resource Professionals of Central PA meeting on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
Denise will provide an overview of the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act, with a specific focus on the provisions of the Act related to the workplace and use by employees. She will review court decisions addressing the rights of employees to use medical marijuana and will use those decisions to highlight what employers should do to ensure workplace safety while avoiding lawsuits.
