Co-Chairs of the McNees Intellectual Property Group Invited to Present for the State Bar of Montana

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (February 2, 2021) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorneys Shawn Leppo and Brian Gregg have been invited to present a free CLE webinar on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 as part of the State Bar of Montana’s Intellectual Property Section’s Explorations Series.
Shawn and Brian, Co-Chairs of the McNees Intellectual Property Practice Group, will provide an overview of 2020 developments in trademark, copyright, and patent law to fellow IP attorneys, business attorneys, paralegals assisting those attorneys and general practitioners.
Shawn’s practice includes advice and counseling on all aspects of intellectual property law, with a focus on patent matters, including patent prosecution, enforcement, licensing, and risk avoidance strategies. He is involved in portfolio planning and management, evaluating and preparing non-infringement and invalidity opinions, structuring and negotiating patent, trade secret and copyright license agreements, as well as development agreements and assisting with IP aspects of diligence in mergers and acquisitions.
In addition to co-chairing the McNees Intellectual Property Practice Group, Brian also chairs the Food & Beverage Practice Group. He focuses on trademark and copyright protection, software and technology services contracts, franchising, food labeling law, internet law, and other issues related to the protection and licensing of intellectual property.
