McNees Hosts Esports Seminar

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (June 21, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC has partnered with the Whitaker Center and Harrisburg University to host an Esports Seminar on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg.
The seminar, scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., will cover all things esports, including its legitimacy, its role in higher education, team ownership, gambling, and investing & sponsoring opportunities.
The keynote speaker will be John Fazio, CEO of N3rd Street Gamers. Fazio will share the captivating story of why he started his company and what he sees as the future of esports.
From collegiate teams to professional leagues to endorsement contracts, esports is on track to follow traditional sports and forge some of its own unique paths. McNees recognizes the legal issues surrounding esports and has launched its own esports practice group, which is supported by 10 other practice groups within the firm.
Registration for the Esports Seminar costs $99. On-site registration and continental breakfast will be from 8:15 a.m. to 9 a.m.
