DEVON, Pa. — (Jan. 31, 2024) The McNees Real Estate Group expanded its greater Philadelphia area team with the addition of Of Counsel attorney Elizabeth Dougherty, deepening its physical presence across Pennsylvania – from Pittsburgh in the west to Devon in the east – and Maryland.
Keynotes:
- Transactional real estate attorney Elizabeth Dougherty joined McNees’ office in Devon, where she will guide individuals, businesses and entities through the purchase, sale or lease of real property.
- With more than 20 years of experience, Dougherty specializes in navigating legally challenging real estate transactional matters, especially those related to the retail and telecommunications industries.
- McNees’ real estate team experienced significant growth over the past two years, and Dougherty’s practice strategically enhances its range and reach of client services.

Dougherty advises clients on matters relating to commercial transactional and real estate law including: contract negotiation; development, review and closing of commercial leases; licenses; amendments; easements; rights of way; and reviewing zoning, survey materials and title compilation reports.
Over the course of her career, Dougherty has worked with wireless carriers T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T; collaborated with Philadelphia-area firms in the areas of corporate transactions, commercial real estate, land use and zoning; and served as counsel to a Fortune 500 Company and then-largest video game retailer in the world.
She earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law and her B.S. from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
