HARRISBURG, Pa. – (November 23, 2020) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC Chairman Emeritus David Kleppinger was elected as vice chair of the Penn State Board of Trustees in a 26-9 vote on Friday, November 13, 2020.
“Year after year, David has contributed his time and talent to the organizations in which he serves in the same manner that he has contributed to our firm for the past 40 years,” said McNees Chair Brian Jackson. “His exceptional leadership will serve the University well.”
David was appointed to the Board in January 2017 by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf as one of six gubernatorial appointees. His service to Penn State also includes his membership with the Department of Political Science’s Board of Visitors, which he also has chaired.
From 2006 to 2018, David led McNees as Chairman and currently serves as co-chair of the McNees Strategic Solutions Group. He is a member of both the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. David has served as chair of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Foundation for Enhancing Communities and United Way of the Capital Region.
