HARRISBURG, Pa. – (April 12, 2019) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorneys Jamie Strong and Esch McCombie are slated to present at the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors’ 2019 PAAZO Spring Educational Forum in Hershey on April 14, 2019.
Jamie and Esch will present “The Mundane to the Monster: Conducting Land Use Hearings” covering how land use hearings can differ and how each should be conducted in an efficient, thorough, and procedurally legal manner to avoid unnecessary delays, appeals and costs. They will walk attendees through the process and explain why it’s important for hearings to comply with the Municipalities Planning Code.
Jamie practices in the McNees Real Estate Practice Group where he primarily represents wireless telecommunications providers and tower companies in land use and leasing matters. He advises his clients in zoning and land use proceedings before municipal planning commissions, governing bodies and zoning hearing boards throughout Pennsylvania. He also represents clients in the acquisition, sale, development and leasing of real estate.
Esch practices in the McNees Real Estate, Oil & Natural Gas and Pipeline & Oil/Gas Infrastructure Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on land use matters and permit approvals at the municipal, county and state level. His work includes reaching favorable zoning and land development outcomes by way of variances or waivers, special exceptions or conditional uses, zoning amendments and challenges to ordinances, and negotiations with municipalities and other government agencies throughout Pennsylvania.
