McNees Attorneys Adeolu Bakare and Meera Modi Recognized by The Legal Intelligencer as 2020 Lawyers on the Fast Track

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (June 4, 2020) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorneys Adeolu Bakare and Meera Modi are honored by The Legal Intelligencer as 2020 Lawyers on the Fast Track.
Each year, as part of its Professional Excellence Awards, The Legal Intelligencer celebrates the next generation of legal leaders. After being nominated by their individual firms, nominees are evaluated by an impartial judging panel, made up of members of the Pennsylvania legal community. This year 24 attorneys received the honor.

Ade Bakare practices in the McNees Energy and Environmental Group, where he focuses on issues involving electric, natural gas, communication, water and wastewater utility services. Ade represents large industrial and commercial consumers of these services before state and federal administrative agencies. He also counsels several municipalities and municipal authorities on energy, water and wastewater matters.
Ade currently serves on the firm’s Hiring and Diversity Committees and is currently Chair of the Pro Bono Committee. In addition to his work with McNees, Ade serves as Board Secretary of the Vista Adult Services Organization, a non-profit providing developmental services for adults with autism.
Meera Modi practices in the McNees Corporate & Tax Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law Groups. She is a leading mergers and acquisitions attorney, who routinely navigates clients through mergers, acquisitions, sales and other strategic ventures. In addition, Meera counsels clients on commercial contracts, equity and debt investments, financings, investor-to-investor matters, and corporate governance matters for both corporate clients and non-profit entities.
Active in the community, Meera is a member of the Orrstown Bank Advisory Board for the Capital Region, the Board of Directors of Operation Medical, a non-profit committed to promoting and providing high quality medical care and education to communities that do not have adequate access to medical care, and the Board of Directors of Tres Bonne Annee, a nonprofit that raises funds for the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in order to advance the arts, culture and education of Central Pennsylvania.
An awards reception to honor all the recipients of The Legal Intelligencer’s 2020 Professional Excellence Awards will take place on Wednesday, September 9 at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia.
