McNees Attorney to Serve as Panelist at Lancaster Bar Association Luncheon

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (October 2, 2019) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Donna Kreiser is slated to serve on the panel “Pathways to Success in Private Practice” at a Lancaster Bar Association luncheon on Monday, October 7. The event, organized by the Association’s Women in the Profession, will be held at the LBA in Lancaster, Pa.
Donna, along with attorneys Roberta Jacobs-Meadway, Theresa Mongiovi and Bernadette Hohenadel, will discuss the under representation of women at the equity partner level and the more likeliness for them to leave the practice of law than their male counterparts. The panel will focus on ways law firms and the legal community can combat these troubling trends and will provide participants with strategies for achieving success in private practice.
Donna, a member of the McNees Management Committee, co-chairs the McNees Public Finance & Government Services Practice Group. Her practice focuses on municipal and project finance law, including economic development, transportation, government, health care and education. She serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, trustee’s counsel, bank counsel and borrower’s counsel for state, county, and municipal clients. She also advises economic development authorities and non-profit entities in the implementation and financing of major capital initiatives that benefit public, private and non-profit entities. In addition, she has experience in debt refinancing for public, for-profit and non-profit organizations, as well as general obligation borrowings.
