HARRISBURG, Pa. – (May 29, 2019) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Denise Elliott is slated to speak at Strickler Agency’s “How Medical Marijuana Affects Your Business” at the Carlisle Country Club on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Strickler Agency, Inc. is an independent insurance agency with locations in Carlisle and Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
As the key speaker, Denise will discuss medical marijuana and how it affects employers in the Commonwealth. The subject of medical marijuana in the workplace is something Denise offers insight on frequently. She has been published in The Legal Intelligencer and Central Penn Business Journal and has been featured in national publications, such as Corporate Counsel Business Journal and Inc. Magazine.
Denise practices in the McNees Labor and Employment Practice Group where she focuses on defending self-insured employers in workers compensation matters and providing representation and counsel to clients in employment discrimination litigation; ADA/FMLA compliance; drug and alcohol issues in the workplace; and health and safety. She is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section.
