McNees Attorney to Offer Insight on New Storage Tank Regulations at PA Chamber of Business and Industry Event

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (April 15, 2019) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Scott Gould will co-present the session “Complying with the New Storage Tank Regulations” at the PA Chamber of Business and Industry’s Annual Environmental Conference and Trade Show in Hershey on April 23, 2019.
Scott, along with Kris Shiffer of the PA Department of Environmental Protection, will discuss the December 2018 changes to the Storage Tank and Spill Prevention Program, which strengthened requirements for operation and maintenance of underground storage tank (UST) equipment, and required substantial recordkeeping and reporting by tank owners. Scott and Kris will concentrate on complying with the new mandatory changes both from a legal and enforcement standpoint, and will offer best practices for compliance.

Scott is Chair of the McNees Environmental Law and Toxic Tort Group where he focuses on compliance counseling, permitting, compliance auditing, and litigation under all environmental regulatory programs.
