HARRISBURG, Pa. – (December 4, 2019) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Charis Mincavage is slated to lead the Central PA Chapter of Association of Energy Engineers event titled Pennsylvania Energy Regulation: What you need to know. The event is taking place on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Harrisburg, Pa.
Charis will speak to the group of energy managers and energy consultants about how present and future legislation and regulatory policy impact an Electric Distribution Company’s (EDC’s) billing components. She will cover non-market based transmission costs, formula transmission rates, potential changes on the horizon, and what consumers can do to control their energy costs.

Charis practices in the McNees Energy & Environmental Practice Group, where she focuses on issues involving natural gas, communications, water and electric utility services. She has represented and counseled large commercial and industrial customers in proceedings before both federal and state administrative agencies, as well as at the appellate level, including providing advice on issues related to legislation impacting energy regulation.
