McNees Attorney Provides Medical Marijuana in the Workplace Update for Central PA LERA

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (February 23, 2021) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Denise Elliott will present at a Central PA Labor & Employment Relations Association (LERA) meeting on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Denise will offer attendees updates and share her perspectives on the continually developing legal area of medical marijuana and the workplace. She will discuss what employers need to know about the PA Medical Marijuana Act and its impact on hiring, drug testing and workplace safety.
Denise practices in the McNees Labor and Employment Practice Group, where she focuses on defending self-insured employers in workers’ compensation matters and providing representation and counsel to clients in employment discrimination litigation; ADA/FMLA compliance; drug and alcohol issues in the workplace; and health and safety. She is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section.
