McNees Attorney Presenting PA Sales and Use Tax Update at State Conference

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (July 18, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney, Sharon Paxton, is slated to present at the PICPA Conference on Pennsylvania Taxes on Monday, July 23 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey.
Sharon, along with another speaker, will cover the decision and implications of South Dakota v. Wayfair Inc., as well as recent statutory changes, recent guidance from the Pennsylvania DOR and recent court decisions. They will also discuss audit and appeals issues.
Sharon is vice-chair of the McNees State and Local Tax Practice Group where she assists clients with a broad range of state and local tax matters, with an emphasis on sales and use tax appeals. She represents taxpayers in proceedings before the Board of Appeals, the Board of Finance and Revenue, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
