McNees Attorney Kandice K. Hull to Speak at ALFA International Business Litigation Seminar in Chicago

HARRISBURG – McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Kandice K. Hull will present, “What Did We Miss and What Can We Learn?” at the ALFA International Business Litigation Practice Group Seminar on September 14, 2017 at the LondonHouse in Chicago from 10:25 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Hull will be joined by Scott Barrett, the Vice President and General Counsel for Critical Process Systems in Burlington, Vt., and Eric Cotton, the Deputy General Counsel of DDR Corp. in Beachwood, Oh.
The presentation will discuss using the litigation as a teaching tool, and how best to do so in a way that imparts useful lessons while at the same time avoiding scapegoating. The panel will also discuss how best to deal with customers, suppliers, and other third-parties in the aftermath of a lawsuit.
Hull is a Member in McNees’ Litigation Group and is the chairperson of the firm’s ALFA Committee. She focuses her practice on the representation of corporate clients in business litigation, handling both federal and state claims. She has represented businesses in cases involving contract disputes, eminent domain, land use matters, and property rights claims, among others.
In addition to her work in the trial courts, Hull also handles appellate litigation matters before the Pennsylvania State and Federal appellate courts and is the co-chair of her firm’s Appellate & Post Trial Practice Group. She is also a member of McNees’ Ethics Committee.
Hull is a 2000 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, and a summa cum laude graduate of Franklin & Marshall College. She has been honored as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the field of Appellate Law since 2010.
