HARRISBURG, PA. (August 23, 2016) – McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney James J. Franklin has been accepted to the Leadership Harrisburg Class of 2017, which will work with area nonprofits focused on improving the community.
During the program, members of the class will learn about education, health care, the criminal justice system and other areas of need in the region. Class members will then form teams to work with various nonprofit agencies.
Jim is an associate in the Litigation group, the Transportation, Distribution and Logistics group and the Insurance Law group. In his practice, Jim represents commercial and business clients in a wide variety of disputes, and also represents individuals who have suffered significant personal injuries.
He received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Jim is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Dauphin County Bar Associations.
Leadership Harrisburg class members include employees of some of the Harrisburg area’s biggest companies, most prestigious law and engineering firms, banks and nonprofits.
