McNees Attorney, Anothony M. Hoover, Named To 2015-16 Class Bar Leadership Institute (BLI)

HARRISBURG, PA. (July 13, 2015) – McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Anthony M. Hoover has been named to the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s “Next Generation of Leaders’ Class Bar Leadership Institute.
“The institute develops the next generation of leaders for the state’s largest bar association by giving selected young lawyers an up close look at the PBA’s operations, governance and member resources,” said PBA President William H. Pugh V. “During the year-long program, each class member attends a variety of PBA meetings and events and is paired with a member of the PBA Board of Governors who serves as mentor to the participant.”
Hoover, an associate in the McNees Family Law practice group, was one of 11 attorneys selected who demonstrated the required leadership ability and participation in PBA events. Candidates had to be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, be age 38 or less or have practiced five years or less.
In his practice, Hoover represents clients in the areas of divorce, support, child custody, property distribution and alimony. He has presented Family Law issues to both Dauphin County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He was also a Law Day presenter with the Cumberland County Bar Association and has authored a number of articles on the subject matter.
Hoover received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Federal District Court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the York County Bar Association and the Cumberland County Bar Association, where he serves as a Board Member of the Young Lawyers Division.
