McNees attorney Adam R. Long honored as one of Central PA’s ‘Forty Under 40’

HARRISBURG, PA (November 22, 2016) – McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Adam R. Long was honored at a ceremony on Monday night at the Harrisburg Hilton as one of the Central Penn Business Journal’s 2016 Forty Under 40 award recipients.
The Forty Under 40 program celebrates the region’s most accomplished young business leaders who are committed to business growth, professional excellence and community service. Long was one of five attorneys selected as a Forty Under 40 award recipient.
Long is a member at McNees and practices in the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group. He represents employers in single plaintiff and class-based employment litigation matters and before various governmental agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. He also represents employers with union-represented workforces in collective bargaining negotiations and grievance arbitrations.
He regularly provides advice and counseling to employers on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, including wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, family and medical leave, labor relations, and non-competition agreements. He has represented transportation clients before government agencies such as the EEOC, PHRC, and OSHA, and regularly represents clients in employment-related litigation.
Long received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Columbia University.
