HARRISBURG, Pa. — McNees Wallace & Nurick Labor Law Attorney Eric N. Athey will again hold his popular annual Spring Legal Update, hosted by Lancaster SHRM, this year, discussing key updates in employment law and court rulings that affect organizations’ employees.
Athey’s presentation will focus on:
- COVID-19 mandates and policy issues;
- Recent employment legislation;
- Developments affecting non-compete and “no-poach” agreements; and
- Legal issues impacting telework and medical marijuana.
Lancaster SHRM hosts nine breakfast meetings annually on a variety of topics geared toward HR professionals. Attendees of Athey’s Spring Legal Update will be able to understand the key provisions of new regulations and laws, learn how these changes could impact their companies, hear about “front burner” employment law items with the current administration and congressional agenda and review recent court decisions of which every HR professional should be aware.
