HARRISBURG, Pa. (April 3, 2025) — McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Kendra McGuire was honored at the 36th Annual Tribute to Women of Excellence, presented by the YWCA Greater Harrisburg on March 26, 2025.

The Tribute to Women of Excellence, established in 2000, honors women for their contributions to their professions and communities. Kendra is one of 25 women in the Capital Region recognized as a “Woman of Excellence.” She was honored for her commitment to her practice, uplifting of underserved populations, and guidance of the next generation of legal professionals.

As a member of the firm’s Litigation Group, Kendra is a highly respected fiduciary litigation attorney with over 35 years of experience resolving complex legal issues related to trusts, estates, powers of attorney, and guardianships. Her practice encompasses the resolution of intricate cases for both individual and institutional clients across Pennsylvania.

Outside the firm, Kendra plays a critical role in shaping estate law in Pennsylvania. As Chair of the State Orphans’ Court Rules Committee and a member of both the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Advisory Council on Elder Justice and the Joint State Commission Advisory Council on Decedents’ Estates, she actively contributes to the evolution of legal frameworks that protect vulnerable populations and promote equitable practices.

Her commitment to community extends to serving on the Economic Development Corporation of Lancaster’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, advocating for policies that protect vulnerable populations and promote social justice. Kendra’s passion for mentorship is equally noteworthy; she invests significant time guiding junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals, ensuring the next generation is well-prepared to lead.

As a Woman of Excellence, McGuire joins a distinguished group of leaders recognized for their dedication to mentorship, volunteerism, and leadership in the Capital Region.
