McNees Attorney Kandice Hull Becomes a Litigation Counsel of America Fellow

HARRISBURG – McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Kandice K. Hull was accepted into membership with the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar.
Membership in the LCA is limited to 3,500 Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellows are selected and invited into Fellowship after being evaluated for effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and trial work, along with ethical reputation. The organization recognizes the particular expertise and accomplishments of litigators.
Hull leads McNees’ Eminent Domain group and is the Co-Chair of the Appellate and Post Trial practice group. She also is a part of the Litigation and Oil and Natural Gas practice groups. She focuses her practice on the representation of clients in complex commercial litigation in business disputes with particular experience in real property litigation. She handles both federal and state claims, and has represented clients in cases involving breach of contract claims, quiet title actions, and land use disputes, among others.
A regular counselor to both condemnors and condemnees in eminent domain matters, Hull has counseled entities with the power of eminent domain through an effective condemnation process. She also has experience defending private property owners in both federal and state condemnation actions, successfully securing the constitutional guarantee of payment of just compensation for the taking of the property and damages to the remainder property caused by condemnation.
Hull also serves as McNees’ pro bono coordinator, and is active in the global legal network, ALFA International. She has been chosen by The Best Lawyers in America for Appellate Law every year since 2010, and has been named as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since 2013, a Select Lawyer since 2014, and the Dauphin County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Attorney of the Year in 2011.
A summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate with a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College, Hull received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
