HARRISBURG – Member attorney Jennifer E. Will has been named co-chair of the Labor & Employment practice group at McNees Wallace & Nurick, the firm announced on Nov. 1.
Will succeeds Brian Jackson as co-chair of the Labor & Employment Group, joining attorney Eric Athey in the role.
“Jennifer has exceptional experience and is focused on providing top service to our Clients,” David M. Kleppinger, Chairman of McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC, said. “She is an important asset to our clients and the firm, and her leadership will help carry the firm’s Labor & Employment practice to the next level.”
Will represents public and private sector employers exclusively, providing advice and counseling to management on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, including wage and hour compliance, collective bargaining, discrimination and harassment.
She frequently conducts training for clients on such topics as discriminatory harassment, union avoidance, employee discipline and hiring and firing techniques. She also participates in several speaking engagements each year and has presented continuing legal education sessions through the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
She earned her B.A. from Dickinson College in 1996 and her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1999. In 2011, Will was a “YWCA Tribute to Women of Excellence Award” recipient, and was selected to the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” in 2014.
Will joined the firm in 2003, after serving as Assistant Counsel to the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, where she advised the Board in matters pending before it and before Pennsylvania’s appellate courts.
