HARRISBURG, Pa. – (November 2, 2020) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC land planning specialist Christopher Knarr, AICP will speak on home-based businesses amid the COVID-19 pandemic and its relation to municipal planning and zoning during the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors’ 2020 PAAZO Virtual Fall Seminar on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

With many employees continuing to work from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris will break down what home-based businesses look like as a result of the pandemic and explore opportunities and options for municipalities to proactively plan and zone for HBBs.

Chris is a land planning specialist in the McNees Real Estate Group focused on assisting commercial and residential clients and other landowners in various matters before municipal planning commissions, governing bodies, and zoning hearing boards.  As a certified planner (American Institute of Certified Planners), building code official (Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry), and zoning officer (Pennsylvania Association of Zoning Officials), Chris’ work includes assistance with all forms of development approvals, zoning relief, as well as zoning amendments and challenges.
