President of Helix Strategies to Serve on Community Foundation Committee

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (February 7, 2022) President of Helix Strategies, LLC, Dr. Ivy Buchan, was voted to serve on the Mechanicsburg Area Community Foundation as an Advisory Committee member. MACF is a regional branch of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities.
In the role, Buchan will provide insight on local issues to strengthen fundraising and grantmaking efforts for the benefit of Mechanicsburg-area residents. The committee manages 75 funds with assets totaling more than $6.8 million, used in part to fund scholarships and grants.
“I’m grateful to the Foundation and TFEC for this opportunity,” Buchan said. “As a Mechanicsburg resident, I’m excited to get to know more about the nonprofits providing services in my own backyard.”
Ivy Buchan is President of Helix Strategies, LLC, which works with organizations to develop strategic solutions to fundraising and leadership challenges for their sustainable success. By working with these boards and leadership teams, Ivy can strengthen their strategic planning, program evaluation, and governance processes.
