President of Helix Strategies to Accept Shippensburg University’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (October 21, 2021) President of Helix Strategies, LLC, Dr. Ivy Buchan, will receive a 2021 Shippensburg University Alumni Award at the annual Homecoming reception and dinner on Friday, Oct. 22 at 5:00 p.m. in the Tuscarora Room of Reisner Dining Hall.
Buchan’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award recognizes her work in the nonprofit space over the last 21 years. She works with her team at Helix Strategies, which she founded five years ago, to help organizations develop strategic solutions to fundraising and leadership challenges. Over the course of her career, she became an adjunct professor at West Chester University, co-founded two nonprofits, edited three nonprofit textbooks and served on several community boards.
Ivy Buchan is President of Helix Strategies, LLC, which works with organizations to develop strategic solutions to fundraising and leadership challenges for their sustainable success. By working with these boards and leadership teams, Ivy can strengthen their strategic planning, program evaluation, and governance processes.
