HARRISBURG, Pa. – (February 18, 2020) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorneys Denise Elliott and Micah Saul are slated to provide a 2020 legal update at the Greater Pottstown SHRM February meeting on Thursday, February 20, 2020.

Denise and Micah will present “If I Had a Crystal Ball: 2020 Legal Updates” covering DOL, NLRB and benefits law updates; predictions for the upcoming year; EEOC law and #MeToo developments; and medical marijuana in the workplace.

Denise practices in the McNees Labor and Employment Practice Group, where she focuses on defending self-insured employers in workers compensation matters and providing representation and counsel to clients in employment discrimination litigation; ADA/FMLA compliance; drug and alcohol issues in the workplace; and health and safety.  She is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section.

Micah practices in the McNees Labor and Employment Practice Group, where he concentrates on assisting clients through a host of complex issues, including employee discipline and discharge; workplace investigations; audits of employment practices by state and federal agencies; employee/supervisor trainings; and discrimination and general defense.  He is well-versed in state and federal statues, including the ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, PPACA, and wage and hour laws.
