Frannie Reilly presents on ESG and Ethics at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Nonprofit Institute 2024 event

Member and ESG Group Chair Frannie Reilly spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s 2024 Nonprofit Institute virtual event. Her session, ESG & Ethics:  current ethical issues facing nonprofit organizations, discussed the ethical challenges affecting nonprofits in the Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) space and their relevance to various stakeholders.  Key concepts discussed included:

  1. Environmental:  divestment of investment funds, incorporation of environmental components in any building and/or renovations
  2. Social: conflicts of interest, acceptance of certain donor funds, employee compensation
  3. Governance: policies, diversity on boards, recording keeping, reporting on IRS Form 990
