McNees Wallace & Nurick’s Mergers & Acquisitions team, led by attorneys Meera Modi and Benjamin Ward, advised DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) in the sale of its Pavement Marking Division to RoadSafe Traffic Systems (RoadSafe).

DCS is a family-owned and operated business based in Hazleton, PA., that extends the life of valuable transportation infrastructure by providing safe, innovative solutions to the operations and maintenance industry. DCS’ Pavement Marking Division has supported State and Local Departments of Transportation and commercial contracting projects in Pennsylvania, Delaware and other States for more than two decades. RoadSafe, based in Chicago, is a leading provider of comprehensive roadway safety services and products in the U.S.

As sell-side counsel, Modi and Ward worked closely with members of the DCS executive and ownership teams as well as with middle-market M&A advisory firm Boxwood Partners to negotiate the terms of the deal and lead the transaction to a successful closing.
