McNees Attorney to Present the Impact of Employment Laws on Credit Union Data Security

Harrisburg, Pa. – (April 16, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC Attorney Devin Chwastyk is slated to present “Navigating the Interrelationship Between Employment Law and Data Security” as part of Vizo Financial’s Risk Management Conference at the Hershey Hotel on Friday, April 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The presentation will cover data security policies within credit unions, a review of security risks in social media, tips on how to prevent security mistakes and information on the process of working with legal counsel regarding security related investigations.
Devin Chwastyk is Chair of the McNees Privacy & Data Security Group and practices Of Counsel in the Litigation Practice Group. Devin advises clients on how to get ahead of data exposure by developing data security policies, privacy disclosures, breach response plans and associated training programs. He also helps clients remedy and report security breach events. Besides data security matters, Devin works on complex commercial litigation and has defended clients in class action lawsuits regarding civil rights, consumer protection law and employment practices.
