HARRISBURG, Pa. — Drew Crompton, McNees public finance attorney and co-chair of the McNees Strategic Solutions Group, is participating in the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s fourth annual Election Law and Policy CLE on Tuesday, June 4. He will discuss the changing landscape for campaign finance and political spending after the U.S. Supreme Court’s seminar decision in Citizens United.
Together with the other panelists, Crompton will review the current state of the law and campaign finance reform efforts after Citizens United, including efforts to regulate coordination and redboxing by a local regulator, the Philadelphia Board of Ethics. They will also offer an introduction to increasingly popular pay-to-play political contribution disclosure requirements for entities doing business with Pennsylvania local governments.
