McNees’ Brigid Landy Khuri named to Leadership Harrisburg Class, Board of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts

HARRISBURG, Pa. — (February 17, 2023) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC environmental attorney Brigid Landy Khuri has joined the Board of Directors for Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts and will also participate in the Leadership Harrisburg Area Community Leadership Series, Class of 2023.
Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts is a nonpartisan, nonprofit group that works to educate Pennsylvanians about the Commonwealth’s court systems and advocates for judicial reforms that promote inclusion and access to justice.
Leadership Harrisburg Area’s nine-month Community Leadership Series is an educational and experiential course exploring the complex systems that affect the Capital Region’s quality of life, and examines ways area leaders can make the greatest impact.
Khuri, along with the other 43 class members, will gain an overview of the region’s history, demographics, challenges and opportunities and participate in a hands-on community service project with a local nonprofit organization.
At McNees, Khuri focuses on environmental regulation, advising clients on air, water, waste, land use and remediation issues and representing them in related litigation and administrative proceedings. She guides clients seeking environmental permits, supports those responding to enforcement actions brought by state and federal agencies, and assists in comprehensive internal investigations stemming from environmental compliance issues.
