YORK, Pa. (April 4, 2025) — On April 3, 2025, McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Anne Zerbe was honored with the 2025 ATHENA Leadership Award at the York County Economic Alliance (YCEA) keynote Event, Showcasing YoCo presented by Traditions Bank, a division of ACNB.
The annual award recognizes individuals who excel professionally, serve their communities, and champion women’s leadership. Recipients embody core values of authenticity, collaboration, courageous action, advocacy, and giving back. Anne’s 25+-year career and dedication to mentoring emerging women attorneys reflect these ideals.
As Co-Chair of the McNees Public Finance & Government Services Practice Group and a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group, Anne advises clients on employment liability prevention, risk management, complex compliance issues, and sensitive investigations. Her leadership extends beyond legal practice, where she serves as Solicitor of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania, collaborates with local officials on regional issues, and contributes to multiple boards, including York College of Pennsylvania and Traditions Bank, a division of ACNB.
As a thought leader in employment law, Anne frequently speaks at conferences hosted by organizations such as the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Her dedication to empowering others extends beyond her professional life, as she actively mentors women attorneys and supports numerous charitable organizations.
