Adam R. Long Named One of Central PA’s “Forty Under 40”

HARRISBURG, PA (September 6, 2016) – Adam R. Long has been named one of Central Penn Business Journal’s 2016 Forty Under 40 award recipients for his commitment to business growth, professional excellence and community service. He will be honored along with other award recipients on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the 22nd Annual Forty Under 40 awards event.
Mr. Long practices in the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group. He represents employers in single plaintiff and class-based employment litigation matters and before various governmental agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. He also represents employers with union-represented workforces in collective bargaining negotiations and grievance arbitrations.
Mr. Long regularly provides advice and counseling to employers on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, including wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, family and medical leave, labor relations, and non-competition agreements. He has represented transportation clients before government agencies such as the EEOC, PHRC, and OSHA, and regularly represents clients in employment-related litigation.
Mr. Long received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Columbia University.
